Just off I-75 in Fort Valley in middle Georgia, there are gorgeous gardens filled with camellias and many other things to see! It is also the botanical garden headquarters of the American Camellia Society. To walk amongst the gardens you pay a small fee of $5 each, or $4 for senior and military discount. Parking is free.

They also have a beautiful venue that can be used as a wedding venue (my aunt has got married there before!!). The paths with the camellias are so nice to walk through, and it also features a Japanese koi garden, a gazebo, a rose garden, a children's garden, environmental, and a gorgeous pond.

The building also has a large collection of ceramics that are displayed in a dance hall. There's also a gift shop, which is also where you pay for your admission. They also have camellias available to purchase if you see a type of camellia that you want in your own yard.

Camellias bloom from early autumn from late fall so be sure to take that into account when you visit. I love going in March and April! This location is great for friends, family, and pets. I have previously visited with my friend to take photos and we had the best time, and I recently visited with my mom.
